Emilia
Startled shock,
Woken from a dream,
Further gone from vision,
You did seem,
Floundered dangerous walking rounded edges,
Sharpened corners on broken ledges,
Kept lingering focus on the darkening scheme.
Eyes aflame in passion’s light,
Heart grown cold,
Ever weakened,
Running blind from the lost,
Embittered fight,
Wherein lies the only answer,
Locked within your fevered flight.
Your legs fell weary,
Mind filled by agony’s,
Sickening delight,
Blue-grey glossed,
Warm and hazy eyes,
Smoldering dreary,
While muscled jaw,
Clenched tight,
Piercing stare far off,
Starred and teary.
Filled the hollow,
Hallways of our past,
Narrow filled in smoke,
Suffered longing,
Love would not last.
Your lust fell,
Heavy scented,
To the nostrils sucking,
Bated breath within,
Clung emotion,
Your body vented,
Hung limp while quickly dying,
Whilst the words,
Escape and scatter,
Slung forever filled the void,
No longer laughter,
Ever crying.
For you held in ample bosom,
The present,
And our black tomorrow,
In your supple pair,
Swelled our choice to make,
One final desperate straw,
Shivers blood,
Ran frozen breath,
Gurgled through,
The muddy rivers’ thaw.
Her jilted memory.
Did displace,
All truth empty,
In disappointed,
Forlorn love’s disgrace.
All ears abide,
Words,
Like shallow shorelines crash,
Thoughts of paradise,
Imbibe,
She strolled alone,
Absent suitor,
Fallen from his throne,
No longer willing,
Or able to accept the bribe,
Albeit your beauty,
And your lust,
My conscience failed to hide,
The absence,
From the long dead dream,
When in her fevered kiss did see,
Foggy fading visions,
Of her and me.
Yet now you’re gone,
Not here to feel,
The once booming shock inside,
Silent whispers,
Creeping shallow,
No voice,
Just fading pictures leave,
Of the wondrous lines,
Your beauty made,
I search and clamber,
Along the walls,
But empty frames replace,
Now line,
The disappearing halls.
Woken from a dream,
