One more Kiss
Her stare smoldered in grey-blue reflection,
Of centered yellow-green.
Crystal mountain river’s sprung,
Flowed transparent,
Forever clear,
Setting heavy pounding hearts,
To dust and ash from lapping flame.
While flush beneath soft lips lay in wait,
Of rushing gold kissed gently foreboding.
Slipped her loving wetted tongue,
Hungrily searched long dead dreams,
Which silenced oft remembered screams.
Lightly freckled pliant skin like smoothed silk,
Burned sweetly of every touch.
Her sliding lightening flickered,
Electric fingers,
Timely tracing broken flesh deeply inked,
Where once was dying,
Forever wanting to be free.
Whispered moans spoken softly whilst the universe sat gaping,
Her unrelenting stroke vibrating upon a thousand burning nerves.
While her mouth continued stoking,
Such a fire long forgotten,
Transparent,
If ever was known.
In this our rising tempest’s moment,
Carried life’s heavy heart with rapid beating.
Lingered on in desperate longing,
Disappeared our bodies swam,
No cloth to cover,
Imperfections gone unnoticed,
When her final desperate kiss,
Did swallow time,
Erased all bitter empty memory,
Of darkness’ waning birth,
Such a wondrous fire arose.
Then came in such a rush,
Delicious sex preventing,
The ever-present,
Impeding slightly lingering death.
From moments lost to moments hence,
Brilliance rose with such a clamor,
Through lights’ blindness constant stabbing,
Leaving hardened love’s embrace,
With voiceless cries for penetration,
Forgetting each misguided claim,
Soon labeled as disgrace.
Heavens smile deep no longer wading,
Head first diving into this mislabeled sin.
Fear from delicate broken heart once taken,
Caution fought to smother every bit of strength within,
Smothered timely suffocated,
Until the fat was thinly trimmed,
And filled the trough for next to see,
Smoke sent rising,
For a sin was not to be.
Yet still we wandered slowly breaking,
The backdrop of memory’s slowly fading.
The rearview narrow and ill-fated,
While falsely borrowed,
From its sorrow,
Absent regret,
With every blossom compassion bated,
The ultimate decline,
In which their hearts,
Could not define.
No longer wanting now overflowing,
Abundant mistress mother time.
Her eyes aflutter in moments blur,
Lost hours quickly seep,
Into the darkness’ we must travel,
For to find eternal,
Never ending peaceful sleep.
At once our future never planned yet faintly dreamt,
Upon us did command without form or purpose known,
Taken slowly into shape.
Turning points of drawn out phrase to nothing,
But exhausted and forgotten,
In a disappearing multicolored haze.
Our bodies writhed slipping calm and fading into one,
Our tired frames in binding love did exude.
Unwavering gaze connected,
Skin together as from a distant nearing space,
God’s whisper did absorb,
In silent anticipation.
Doubt became a hallow shell,
Once covering the tortured,
Slowly murdered spirit,
Thriving now beyond the bars,
Of our once imagined inescapable prison cell.
One more kiss we begged and stole,
From upon our stride nothing waited,
No more to hide,
If all was given to be taken away,
I’ll carry the lingering,
Weighted kiss of yesterday.
Of centered yellow-green.
