Head
About the Book:

Head is the beginning of my journey into the life of sobriety and is in no way meant to give the impression that something has been completed.
The Bain of addiction lives in its treacherous and cunning nature, always waiting, ever growing stronger while the addict continues to remain dry and clean, slowly getting sober.
Addiction does not quit in its pursuit of self-destruction for the addict. As you travel through, you can see where recovery slowly eats away at the old ideas and aging principles that initially brought me to the doorstep of sobriety and my bottom.
Head is the raw truth and data set before your eyes, that you can see what those who choose sobriety experience to some degree. It may be slightly different, although experience has shown it is also pathological.
Perhaps there will be some refuge found in your mind and heart should you or someone you know be suffering. If that is not possible, then at the least I hope you can sift through it to find some small amount of hope when there is such a desperate state of mind being experienced.
This book was written by me, but not solely for me; it was written for the still suffering alcoholic and drug addict searching for the next 24 hour period to end in which they did not need to use or drink.
I left it open for you to see me naked, ugly, and human; to imagine whatever it is you would imagine about such a grotesque figure as this.
