The Devil's Hooves
Click clacking of the devil’s hooves,
Stench of sulfur followed every tap,
The mind towards murder grooves,
Yet a soft voice cried to make no moves,
For action is be still and quiet,
Let rotten wilting flesh proclaim,
Its own impending destructive riot.
With each crack across the floor,
The body slammed to close the door,
She promised gold beyond ignorant schemes,
They ate it whole betrayed pure dreams,
Becoming one with evil deeds,
Only this evil breeds.
False Gods they do proclaim,
Though words of wisdom did take aim,
Denied the use of principles real,
To speak a word against you’ll feel,
The end result of evil’s deed,
Alone in light whilst others feed,
Upon the dying daylight darkness need,
A hunger builds deep within,
Regardless of their mounting sin.
To walk away and leave them blind,
For is there more a heart so kind,
Speaking what be known as truth,
Grown dead adult from pure in youth,
Watching as they circle rich,
The evil clicking of a witch.
The hooves come closer with each breath,
And the stench she carries of your death.
When the hammer of under lord falls,
The crumbling palace is within the walls.
From outside looking as deep can be,
Nothing altered external eyes to see,
The evil seeps from tap and tapping,
While the ignorant keep on their napping.
When the end comes strong and true,
Which side will God find the heart of you.
For those of us who trust in right,
Ours has grown a silent fight,
From spoken diatribes delight,
Letting truth become true rage,
Against the dying of a once great light.
Stench of sulfur followed every tap,
The mind towards murder grooves,
Yet a soft voice cried to make no moves,
For action is be still and quiet,
