This youtube video makes me think, makes me nauseous, fearful, aware, wanting ignorance, happy with sight... but most importantly perhaps, a deep connection to the right and wrongs of our world.
To all of our beloved brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters serving around the world... you are loved and we will not forget for an instant what you give so freely everyday.
May God bless you, as He has done for us with your love and dedication.

"Every time we let a pedophile, rapist, sex offender re-offend; our children grow without child hoods, without knowing trust, without the vital security which makes children free to become the men and women they were destined to be. We rob them of these ever so important characteristics of human growth; some will find a way to live through the atrocities while so many end their lives with suicide, drug over doses or become victims of homicide... think of this when you judge the addict, the prostitute, the runaway, the whomever... may God be with us all and may He watch over our children, as our system fails to do this with such inadequacy."
"Love is gentle, love is hard, love is blind, but most of all, love is an amazing teacher full of many great lessons. Years ago, a part of me shut down from the idea of love; I had no idea that today would bring me so deeply and sweetly into the fold of her once more... I am grateful that it does not have to die... this poem is a manifestation of the anxiety which the imagination created due to the tragic nature of my last love afair many years ago. Love perseveres through all else if one day we can wake up and see the sunshine creeping in through the blacked out shades in a darkened world.

"When the veil is lifted from before our eyes, we choose whether to be blind or to see the truth in its beauty, masked by the bitter sorrow of our disillusionment"
