After a brief discussion with a self-proclaimed "Authority of Calgary business" it occurred to me that I am not doing enough to help the church program with donations from book sales - so in conjunction with the sale I am presently running on the books, I have decided to donate %100 of all profits to the Central United Recovery Ministry until January 1, 2011!
The decision came for a couple of reasons: first, the discussion I had with the above individual made me slightly nauseous because he informed me that I would never get rich giving away %30 to any charity and that charities were for tax purposes only! Not only did I laugh at this man, but at one point I threatened to beat him senseless if he told anyone he and I were friends.
The second reason I am giving %100 is because I learned that the recovery ministry may not be able to subsidize outside counselling services for those who cannot afford it at a regular rate.
And the third is because I want to lure you all in so we can help this program that has saved many lives through its drug and alcohol recovery oriented programs.
I know, what a con man!
Still, seriously... do it!"
